PROPHETIC WORD

‘REST AND RELEASE’

As I was in prayer, I heard Father God say, “REST and RELEASE.” I saw people laying down to intentionally rest and as they did, I saw a black substance being released from their bodies. The substance was symbolic of oppression, heavy yokes, and the burdens they have been carrying. I then heard the spirit of the Lord say, “Get off the hamster wheel and choose to trust me.” I saw weary and exhausted people get off the ‘hamster wheels’ they have been stuck on, and in a zombie like fashion choose to lie down and rest. I heard Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (NIV)

I saw this same group of people aggressively using a nail grinding tool and they were grinding their nails down until they were bloody, numb, and useless. Symbolically this represents toxic cycles, striving, and essentially ‘burn out’. Father God showed me that many are being driven by fear and the lack of trust in His faithfulness, defaulting to self-reliance and control. I saw Jesus invite these people over to lie down their grinders, lie on their backs, take rest, as He applied a thick oil to their nail beds. The oil began to heal and rejuvenate their skin, bringing new growth and life to their nails. Friends, it is time to lie down and take rest in our good Father, and see new growth and life produced out of His love, goodness, and provision. It is time to trade in fear for an upgrade of faith! Are you ready for a new way, a new tool?

I heard the spirit of God say, “Watch it RAIN.” I saw a torrential downpour of rain, which was fiercely removing the debris of last season, and bringing a rapid increase of blessings and abundance. At the same time, I heard the term “Make it rain” and I saw currency flying around at rapid speed. These two terms symbolize ‘His Provision’ and ‘Our Expectation’! I heard the Father ask, “Will you choose to trust me?” As people made the choice to position their hearts and minds in trusting the Father, I saw the sky and climate begin to shift into alignment, creating the perfect opportunity for a downpour to be released upon them! I heard Father God say, “I am eager to teach them a new way, a better way”! It is time to position your hearts in gratitude! “Be glad, people of Zion, rejoice in the LORD your God, for he has given you the autumn rains because he is faithful. He sends you abundant showers, both autumn and spring rains, as before.” (Joel 2:23) ASK for the rain and EXPECT Him to rain down blessings like never before!  “Ask the LORD for rain in the springtime; it is the LORD who sends the thunderstorms. He gives showers of rain to all people, and plants of the field to everyone.” (Zechariah 10:1) He is faithful! Watch it RAIN!

In the last scene of the vision, I saw fresh printed newspapers being delivered, and I saw a headline stating, “Will you believe the report of the Lord?” Under the headline it read, “Word of God”, and I saw Philippians 4:8 reading, “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” God is eager to teach us a new way, a better way, however there is a choice to make! You can choose to read the same paper that has kept you spinning on the hamster wheel, or you can choose to trade it in for a new narrative. A narrative of life and hope! You can choose to stay on the path of excessive worry, anxiety, exhaustion, and burn out, or you can choose to believe the report of the Lord! Will you choose to believe the word of the Lord?

In closing, I leave you with this beautiful truth found in Jeremiah 17:7-8, “But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” (NIV)
