As I was seeking God today, I heard him say “Stop the chatter.” Chatter, by definition, is to “talk rapidly or incessantly about trivial matters.”

I felt there was two meanings to this statement. I heard the infiltration of chatter coming from the enemy. I saw an assignment of a rapid and consistent flow of lies, oppression, deception, discouragement, and torment. It was suffocating and overwhelming people. I saw many people holding their heads because they were overwhelmed with confusion, chaos, and mental anguish. I felt the Father say “Stop the chatter”, meaning take authority and renew your mind! The enemy’s agenda is to make you so overwhelmed that you become paralyzed by negative thoughts and become unable to discern lies from the truth. I’m here to say use your authority and renew your mind in the word. Stand up and speak to those things that are bringing hopelessness, torment, confusion, and depression. Get out the weapon of the word of God and intentionally flood out the lies with His truth. You are victorious, you are more than conquerors, you have a sound mind, you are seated in heavenly places, you are the righteousness of Christ Jesus, no weapon formed against you will prosper. You get it. His word is a sword that pierces through the darkness and the agenda of the enemy.

The next meaning of “Stop the chatter”, was a loving correction to stop talking about the trivial matters of life, stop being swayed by the distractions from the enemy, stop looking in the natural, and simply stop slandering others. I felt the Father ask “Who’s report are you going to believe anyways?” Are you going to believe the report of the media, the interpretation of others, or are you going to come up higher and listen to the report of Heaven!? Are you going to take time to ask the Father’s perspective? Will you buy the lies of fear or will you choose to see through Heaven’s perspective? Stop the chatter! Listen to Him! Weed out the distractions keeping you from living in truth, abundance, and joy. Don’t get sucked into gossip, slander, or drama. Speak life over others and ask for God’s perspective and view. Stop the chatter. Be a voice of truth, a voice of life, a leader.

So I encourage you today to stop the chatter. Stop the voice of the enemy, take authority, and renew your mind. Also, stop meditating on the trivial matters of life, the opinions of others, what you see in the natural, and stop spewing words curses, and airing out other’s weaknesses. It’s time to rise and roar. It’s going to take a remnant who is willing to be purified in the fire and baptized in love! You have been called to be set apart. It takes effort, discipline, character, and integrity to be a leader. Step into your identity. Come up higher. You were created for greatness.
