“SHEDDING OLD SKIN IN A NEW SKIN SEASON”

I heard The Father say, “There is an invitation to shed old skin in a new skin season.” I saw rough callused skin being removed from people from the prior season and an invitation for something new. I then saw people lying on surgery tables and they were willingly handing over a knife to Jesus, the surgeon, and they were giving him permission to remove the old skin from there bodies. The scene then flipped to individuals wrapping themselves in a new skin that appeared as a blanket shaped like a cocoon.

The Father showed me in this last season many hearts have become callused from pain, disappointment, loss, and the feeling of lost security and trust. I heard the scripture “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, trust also in me.” (John 14:1) I then saw an invitation to lay on the surgery table and there was a question from Jesus “Are you willing to allow me to remove and peel away the old skin?” Just then, individuals had a choice to stay in the same “grind” (where one is worn down) or to hand over the knife and ask Jesus to peel away the old skin. Just as Jesus does, he joyfully, carefully, and honorably, began the surgery process. He is the healer friends, and he will do it again! No matter what has created a hardening, the healer is in the house, and He is wanting to partner with you for your victory. Will you trust him friends? The old skin will keep you in the grind, a place of being worn down and worn out.

For those saying yes, it is a placing of going back to the beginning and into the best place we can be, His lap, His arms, His presence. The Father is inviting us back to intimacy and in that place you can lay your burdens down and choose to trust him to heal you once again. I say again because I felt Father God say, “This isn’t anything new”, meaning many have walked this out before in victory, however, there has been a “blurring” of the necessity and importance of going back to the basics. I felt him say “Yes, it is really that easy.” Intimacy, worship, prayer, and resting in His beautiful embrace is our life line, it is everything. Jesus is ready to give you the new skin in exchange for the pain, disappointment, grief, loss, lack of feeling secure, and the mistrust. The new skin is like a cocoon of safety, protection, comfort, hope and healing. It is yours friends. I heard him say “It is yours for the pickens”, which I felt was really him saying it is your choice and there is plenty for you. He will meet you at your “YES”!

“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, for the patch will pull away from the garment, making the tear worse. Neither do people pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.” (Matthew 9:16-17)

There is an opportunity to receive new wine from Heaven in this hour, however there is a partnership that must take place. The new wine represents fresh intimacy, fresh fire, fresh power, and fresh love. I saw new mantles being placed on people and a maturing happening to those who are willing to go through the process of ‘pressing’. There is a harvest and revival coming, however the revival begins in us. I saw Jesus with shock paddles to the heart, and I saw him bringing people back to feeling FULLY ALIVE. There is a fresh season of hunger and power coming in this hour and the Father is inviting us to partner with His Glory. His Justice will be served, and He is wanting His body to rise out of the ashes into the fire, out of the ashes into the fire, out of the ashes into the fire. I saw fire being applied to glass, and I felt The Father say “Let me shape you into who I created you to be, let me love you the way I designed you to be loved, let me dress you in the garments I have set aside for you, I have laid out the best for you, I have chosen you, I have called you my own.” I saw garments of royalty being placed on beds and I saw the mantles, the royal identity as sons and daughters of the King being laid out, and I heard him ask “Will you pick it up and put in on? It is yours for the pickens.”

I am praying for the grace to choose to trust in the pain, in the disappointment, in it all!
