This morning, as I began to pray, I heard in my spirit “I’m putting out fires.” I immediately saw a picture of Jesus with a firehouse and he was co laboring with His people and putting out fires out for them. I saw him holding people’s hands and listening to their worries and he would say “oh that fire, that’s what your worried about!?” and then he would grab out his firehouse, still holding their hand and he would extinguish the fire right in front of them!

I see many people who are worried about the ‘WHAT-IFS & WORST CASE SCENARIOS’! I see many people anticipating what they will have to face and what they will have to walk into as life goes back to ‘normal’.
I see Jesus giving us an invitation to co-labor with him. He will put out your fires and manage your fears and worries, however we have a responsibility to partner with him.

This beautiful exchange is displayed in Philippians 4:6-7 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

As you read this passage, your ONLY responsibilities in all of this are…
1.  Continually choose NOT to be anxious, which means keep handing it over to him.
2. In every worry/fear that you are struggling with, bring ALL of if to God.
3. Stay in a mindset of prayer & thanksgiving.
4. Expect PEACE to come that will far outweigh your understanding. Expect PEACE to come that will guard and protect your hearts and minds.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

As we trust him, he takes care of the rest! While we are resting, he is working. While we are trusting, he is perfecting. While we are expecting, he is rearranging, realigning and redirecting.
Remember, life may not be the same for you after all of this, but one thing is CERTAIN, he will never let you down, he is a God of abundance and upgrades. He may just be positioning you for something greater!

Take Courage Friends!
