Hand over the shackles, I have the key
This morning, I heard The Father say, “Hand over the shackles, I have the key.” I saw a picture of a woman walking humbly over to The Father, offering up her wrists for The Father to unshackle her and set her free.
There is an invitation today to humbly offer up the things that have been binding you to The Father for the freedom he has for you. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 (NIV) The word says, “DO NOT LET”, which means you have a choice to not allow the shackles and bondage to rule you or keep you in captivity. What is interesting about that translation is that I heard The Father say is that many of these things have become apart of people’s identity and or a place of ‘accepting’ them as a ‘cross they have to bear’. The Father wants to expose and break deception off those who have believed the shackles are there to stay. This mindset is attached to disappointment, discouragement, and hopelessness. Today, The Father is saying “Hand them over, give them up, let go of them, I have the key to your freedom.” I particularly sensed sickness, depression, anxiety, fear, addiction, poverty mindset and striving. However, ask God to expose your shackles and he is no respecter of persons, He WILL set you FREE.
I heard him say “This is going to take work”, meaning you will have to replace ‘doubt and shame’ with ‘faith and courage’. I heard Psalm 121:1 “I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Do you believe it friends? If you do not, are you willing to face your disbelief and be bold, brave, and courageous enough to give it up to him, the creator of it all. What is there to lose? Where does your hope come from? He is the one who spoke life into existence, the one who was able to command the storm to be still and it listened, the one who parted the waters of the Red Sea. He is able and He is willing! He is not moved or disappointed by your lack of faith and disappointment. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus states “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there, and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
I heard The Father ask, “Will you take a break from what is breaking you?” Many of us our carrying burdens that are ‘breaking us’, emotionally, physically, spiritually and mentally. He is saying “Cast your cares upon him and he will sustain you, He will not let the righteous be shaken.” (Psalm 55:22) The weights are not yours to carry. When will we leave self-sufficiency at the door and when fear and doubt meet us there, we boldly step around it, walk into the promise land, and take our place!!??
There is an invitation to “Hand over the shackles and set you free.” He said, “His word is your weapon in this hour.” Psalm 119:105 states “The word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” His word is truth and it will lead you into wisdom and freedom. Hebrew 4:12 states “For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit.” His word is powerful, it is a key that gives you strategy to get free and stay free.
I heard The Father say, “You are a wrecking ball,” A wrecking ball is “something that stands poised to demolish and destroy the current situation.” You have the authority and “the weapons you fight with are not of this world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4 (NIV)
I declare grace over you to see the shackles you have accepted and owned as your identity. I declare strength over you to face doubt and humbly hand them to the King of Kings. I declare faith over you to expect freedom and deliverance today.
Take Courage Friends!
Love & Courage,
Diane Anil
