PROPHETIC WORD LEADING INTO AUGUST
CROSSING OVER
The Father showed me that August is a month of crossing over! I saw many people experiencing a domino effect of breakthrough and victory in a variety of circumstances. I saw people crossing over in finances, relational issues, physical health, mental/emotional healing, open doors, favor, etc. Many were experiencing a multiplication effect of breakthrough!
I saw a timestamp being placed upon people and I heard the word “Expired”! The ‘wilderness’ season for many is reaching its expiration date and it is time to cross over into the promise land. No more lag, no more delay, no more dismay, it is time to cross over. Who’s ready!? Who’s willing to believe!?
The Father drew me to the book of Joshua and the significance of crossing over the Jordan River. Symbolically, crossing the Jordan is a turning point, a place of divine deliverance out of oppression into freedom! It is a time of breakthrough and victory! We are stepping into a ‘Crossing the Jordan’ marking moment.
God kept highlighting Joshua 3:5 to me, where Joshua tells the people, ““Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” To consecrate oneself, means to make holy unto the Lord. I saw people stripping down to nothing and stepping into a huge washing room filled with pure high-pressured waterfalls. They were choosing to enter a cleansing process in preparation for their breakthrough. There is an invitation to consecrate yourself as we wait and prepare for the crossing over in August. It is a time of asking the father to search our hearts deeply and a place of full surrender. It is a time of allowing the Father to examine every area of our lives and allowing Him to remove every impurity within us. It is a time of humility, repentance, and holiness. It is a time of holding nothing back, becoming childlike, not holding onto to the ‘fight to be right’, and no longer depending on our own knowledge or wisdom. Essentially, it is time for a full search warrant from the father into our hearts, homes, and lives. It is a ‘rubber meets the road’ moment, and out of the consecration, I see roadmaps being given out. Clarity, direction, blueprints, and favor will follow.
The Father kept speaking to me about Saint Augustine of Hippo, who I knew nothing about prior to, however after studying His life, a few key points stood out to me. Saint Augustine had a supernatural experience before his conversion, where he felt led to the book of Romans, which made Him confront His sin and drew him to fully surrender to Christ. He was delivered in a moment, primarily from sexual sin, and chose to consecrate His life unto the Lord. He quickly laid down His life and he became ordained in ministry. Saint Augustine was a scholar, writer, and he authored books, including the Confessions and City of God. The Confessions of Saint Augustine was based upon His own intimacy and dialogue with God. It was compiled of his own confessions and repentance of sin, however it also included His confession of love, thanks, and praise unto God. He truly knew the love, grace, mercy, redemption, and radical transformation available through relationship with Christ. Saint Augustine was raw, real, and willing to relinquish His ways for a life laid down for Christ. He allowed God to do a deep cleansing work within Him and completely transform His life.
The Father is charging us in this hour to go back to the basics, the foundation, choose intimacy over everything, dig deep in the word, confront issues of sin, examine our hearts, and allow a deep cleansing work as we wait upon Him! This is a lifestyle of holiness we are called into, not a season.
The waiting in the wilderness has produced exhaustion, discouragement, doubt, and even bitterness for some. There is no shame or blame, however it is time to turn weariness into a weapon of warfare. It is time to come out of agreement with ‘what was’ and declare ‘what is’ and ‘what will be’. It is a time to get our houses in order, choose surrender, choose repentance, choose humility, choose to consecrate ourselves before Him.
As we wait in expectation and we choose to celebrate the crossing over into victory, may we all posture our hearts continually in humility and holiness. Saint Augustine once said, “Do you wish to rise? Begin by descending. You plan a tower that will pierce clouds? Lay first the foundation of humility.”
In closing, I encourage you with the word of God, “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:20-21 TPT)
