As I was in prayer, I heard The Father speak to me on the ‘seduction of self-sabotage’ that has come over many in the body of Christ. SEDUCTION, by definition, is “a tempting or an attractive thing.” SELF-SABOTAGE “is when we actively or passively take steps to prevent ourselves from reaching our goals.”

The Father showed me a subtle wave of seduction that has come over many in the body of Christ and it has been ‘tempting and attractive’ to engage with the destructive behavior of self-sabotage. It has been tempting and attractive because it has deceived many to feel a state of ‘comfort, peace and rest’, yet it has brought ‘complacency, spiritual blockage, numbness, disconnection and disengagement’. It has been tricky, yet effective and The Father is shining the light on it in order to reposition many into their purpose.

The Father showed me there have been many ways people have partnered with self-sabotage, consciously and subconsciously, however it has been a subtle delusion to thwart the plans and purposes for their lives.

Many have felt led to enter rest, yet many have disconnected from The Father in their resting and it has brought numbness, spiritual blockage and disengagement from communication, heavenly strategy, and direction from God. There has been a call to rest, yet there has been a misconception of what it entails, and it has brought a standstill to movement and acceleration in this season. In the attempt to rest and clear agendas, many have lacked discipline, engagement and have fallen into a ‘trance like’ state of mind and being. Many have misinterpreted what rest looks like and The Father wants to bring realignment to this directive. I also saw that many have been questioning what they saw in the season prior where it was filled with dreaming, zeal, and zest for life. There was a season of open access to heaven and many were co laboring with The Father in their destiny by using their voice, their hands and dreaming outrageously with God. Many were seeing a side of themselves come alive and it was exhilarating, yet much of it came to a sudden halt, yet it was a subtle slow process of deception. For many, the enemy came in subtly and began whispering lies of deception that has put many to sleep as they have partnered with doubt, unbelief, and discouragement, leaving them to question EVERYTHING they heard and experienced previously. I also saw the ‘fear of man, intimidation and self-doubt’ come in and paralyze people from moving forward. Many have not been able to put words to what they have been experiencing mentally, many have not felt safe to express their feelings and many have been in a ‘trance like’ state of mind, unaware of the paralysis. There has been a strong attack on ‘IDENTITY AND THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE WITH COURAGE’. Many have become overwhelmed with the fear of man rather than obedience unto The Father regarding the instruction and direction He previously gave.

Intimidation has crippled many voices and has left many people in paralysis and The Father is exposing the tactics of the enemy.

The strategy is simple, yet effective. There is a call to honestly reassess and reevaluate your current mindset and behavior. As you sit with Him in reassessment, I saw The Father removing numbness, deception and realigning hearts and minds in synchrony with heaven. I also see an invitation to ask The Father what it looks like to rest yet stay engaged and connected to His heart. I saw ‘performance mentality’ being dismantled within this realignment of thinking, simultaneously experiencing momentum and acceleration in your purpose. I see The Father ‘making sense’ and helping people bring balance of discipline and rest, along with releasing wisdom and discernment in the tension between the two. I also saw deception being lifted about your call, your identity, and your purpose on this Earth. I saw distinct plans and strategy being released and a new release of courage coming over the hearts and minds of people.

I saw a new set of weapons being handed out to those who take the time to reassess and reevaluate where they have been and where they need to go. The weapons and armor being dispensed are specific for the assignments God has given to each person. The weapons are for spiritual safety and guards for protection and prevention of the enemy’s tactics and ploys. For some, it looks like a prayer/intercessory team or support circle while you plan, build, and implement in this season. For others, it is actively engaging in honest assessment of your heart and mind in the presence of God yet inviting a trusted mentor or friend into that space with you. For many, it is implementing strategic discipline of rest, prayer, worship, the word, and community. I also heard The Father say ‘creating a cheer section’ for yourself. I felt him show me many of you need to be intentional and prayerful about who you are going to invite into your inner circle ‘cheer section’. These are people you feel safe being transparent with, where you are able to share your dreams, goals, fears and insecurities and in return they will keep you ‘accountable’, remind you of who you are, encourage you, listen to you and cheer you on. They are also powerful people who desire to be empowered in return. The Father showed me the need for people to be intentional to disengage with the days of isolation and self-promotion, in exchange for healthy community and empowered people cheering one another on. For many, there have been accusations from the enemy to you and through others attacking your identity, character and integrity, however The Father is inviting you in to utilize his strategy as reinforcement and confirmation of who you are in Christ and the powerful purpose He has placed on your life.

The Father brought me to the moment in Matthew 16: 15-17 when Jesus asks his disciples “But what about you? Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter responds to Jesus “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus then replies “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hell will not overcome it.” There is a continual invitation to stay aware and engaged with The Father daily and when moments of self-doubt and accusation against your identity arise, to ask The Father to reveal who you are in Him. He is crazy about you and he knows you more intimately than anyone else on this Earth and He is eagerly waiting to speak truth about your identity and purpose.

Revelation 3:7 states “What he opens no man can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” You walk in divine favor and your approval and identity are found within The Father, not within man. I encourage you to ‘TAKE YOUR COURAGE, TAKE YOUR BIRTHRITE, BE OBEDIENT AND REPOSITION’ yourself toward your destiny. I keep hearing ‘SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS’ with the strategy he released. I sense a call back to success within simplicity.
