There is an invitation in this season to step into one of these three beautiful phases of intimacy and spiritual marking. This is not something you have to work for or something you can make happen in your own striving. These phases of intimacy and spiritual marking are opportunities awaiting the bride and The Father says “they will be effortless opportunities of unmerited favor and grace” for HIS awaited lovers. It is all because he LOVES you, because HE calls you worthy, because you are HIS chosen one.

I heard the Father whisper, “I am getting ready to SERENADE my bride.” To be SERENADED is to experience, by definition, “a piece of music sung or played in the open air, typically by a man at night under the window of his lover.” This beautiful serenade from The Father is for the bride, those who have made room, those willing, those who have been in preparation, those who have said ‘YES” to the process of sanctification, the laid down surrendered lovers of The King of Kings, those who have embraced resting, soaking and receiving his unfathomable love. This is an invitation to be a part of one of the most romantic love stories of a lifetime. The one worthy of it all, serenading His bride with His un-relentless love, His attentiveness, His comfort, and His beautiful embrace. The Father is about to lavish his lover with favor and a deep love that will bring healing to the places you have been waiting for and understanding to the questions you have longed for.

This is the story of divine romance so beautifully expressed in Song of Songs Chapter 1 (The Passion Translation). The Shulamite begins by her request “Let him smother me with kisses- his Spirit-kiss divine. So kind are your caresses, I drink them in like the sweetest wine! Your presence releases a fragrance so pleasing- over and over poured out. For your lovely name is Flowing Oil. No wonder why the brides-to-be adore you. Draw me into your heart. We will run away together into the king’s cloud-filled chamber.” WOW, a love-struck bride-to-be longing for ultimate intimacy with her King. The Shepard-King then replies “Listen, my radiant one- if you ever lose sight of me, just follow in my footsteps where I lead my lovers. Come with your burden and cares. Come to the place near the sanctuary of my shepherds. My dearest one, let me tell you how I see you- you are so thrilling to me. To gaze upon you is like looking at one of Pharaoh’s finest horses- a strong, regal steed pulling his royal chariot. Your tender cheeks are aglow- your earrings and gem laden necklaces set them ablaze. We will enhance your beauty, encircling you with our golden reins of love. You will be marked with our redeeming grace.” The Father is awaiting his bride with the ultimate love feast, an invitation of deep intimacy, adornment, healing, unmerited favor, and overflowing grace.

Will you accept His invitation? Have you been preparing for your King? Will you make room? Lovers, are you ready to be serenaded by your King, the ultimate lover and satisfier of our souls?

The next phase of intimacy I heard The Father whisper to me is “The Induction Ceremony.” An induction ceremony, by definition, “is a ceremony held to mark a person’s formal introduction or entry into an office, position, group, etc.” This is a season of significant marking in the spirit where the ‘hidden ones’ are coming out, along with a ‘new generation’ of generals, trailblazers and leaders. This group of people are being highlighted and formally marked in the spirit for the work of the kingdom. These ones are being highlighted to pastors and leaders, and The Father is saying it is time to ‘induce them’, it is time for these ones to begin birthing the promises that have been put inside of them. As the pastors and leaders acknowledge and make room for these ones to be marked publicly, they are acting as midwives in the spirit for those who are about to blaze trails of revival and intimacy for the next decade to come. Many of these being marked and released in this season will be recorded in history books, likened to Kathryn Kuhlman and Reinhard Bonnke. These are pioneers, generals, trailblazers, and the mighty ones rising up and being marked for this season to come.

I see an orphan mindset being destroyed as powerful pastors and leaders rise up and choose to empower, induce labor, and release these mighty ones being highlighted. I am seeing the mentality of ‘the elite’ exchanged for healthier churches full of honor, recognition and empowerment of all people, each call and purpose being equally significant. I see pride, ego, and fear of ‘losing your place’ being removed as eyes are fixated on all of this being about Jesus, not about us, not about our calls, truly all about Jesus. I see tribes forming of healthy powerful people empowering others and the days of isolation and self-promotion being exposed and eliminated. I see mothers and fathers in the spirit rising up and gently loving people out of isolation and self-promotion, recognizing these ones need love, acceptance, and spiritual parenting. There is healing coming to the orphan spirit in leadership and the body, unity coming to the church, a new mindset of making Jesus famous above ourselves and a complete realignment in our spiritual makeup. Get ready church, things are going to start looking different and as racial injustice is being exposed, spiritual division is also being exposed as well. Things are about to look, feel and be different in this season to come. There is a sifting and a weeding coming to significantly mark healthy leadership from unhealthy leadership. The body will be able to recognize healthy leadership full of empowerment and honor and will flock to be a part of those tribes of people, where they feel seen, known, heard, loved, and empowered.

This is not the time to bring judgement and criticism, it is the time for intercessors to rise up and begin praying for our leaders, for the orphan mentality to be exposed, for those being ‘induced’ and for significant realignment and unity to quickly form in the body of Christ. This is a time to stand in humility and extend forgiveness, grace, love, and mercy to all people, especially our leaders. It is time for us to exchange our lens of criticism, our ‘rose colored’ lenses of denial for truth and compassion. It is time to rise!

The last phase of intimacy and spiritual marking I heard The Father whisper to me is “The Great Commissioning.” The most famous example of the Great Commission is found in Matthew 28:16-20, where Jesus calls on his followers to make disciples and baptize all nations in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I see the masses rising up being unsatisfied with status quo church, ‘lukewarm’ complacent walks with God and a great desire to walk in the ‘full manifest power’ of Jesus Christ. Wahoo!!! The real power of Jesus is about to be seen on the Earth in a significant way. I see fire and power coming back to the church in a significant way and significant marks of revival are being recorded in Heaven now.

The Father brought me to Luke 4:18-19 where the scroll of the prophet of Isaiah was handed to Jesus and as he unrolled it, he read out loud “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Friends, there is a significant opportunity and invitation into using your hands, feet, and mouth for the glory of God and to bring freedom to those in captivity. I see people ripping off zippers and black tape that have shut their mouths, I see them unleashing chains around their ankles that have held them in standstill and I see masses taking off sprinting as fast as they can. As they sprint in fierce tenacity, I see the roar of the Lion of Judah being magnified through their voices. These are the unstoppable, the evangelist, the revival starters, the trail blazers and the bringers of freedom and fire!

The Father also brought me to Matthew 10:6-8 where Jesus instructs his disciples to “Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim the message. The kingdom of heaven has come near. Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” I saw people putting down their bible and moving forward into action. I see masses of people taking the word literal and no longer being “hearers of the word but doers of the word.” I see people truly believing and stepping into the promises Jesus states in John 14:12 “I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with my Father.” There are masses of people who are rising with CRAZY FAITH ready to walk in signs, wonders and miracles and nothing will stop them. These are tenacious ferocious lovers of the King and they are ready to see the true manifest power of Jesus on the Earth.

I see heaven standing to their feet and giving a round of applause and cheer to these ferocious ones! I see the angels celebrating and victory being shouted throughout the heavens. It is as if they have been waiting for this moment for all of eternity. It looks like popcorn flying everywhere, each of them sitting on the edge of their seat in suspense at the greatest movie of their life and the kind of excitement and spirit you feel at the super bowl times one thousand. Are you ready friends!!?? I sensed this feeling in heaven that sounded like “finally they caught it, they see what they can walk in, they see what is possible, we have been waiting for this moment.” It is even better than the moment your children learn to begin walking and you watch them stand up, fall, stand again and then the moment they finally take off in steady pursuit. Such a beautiful picture friends!

Who is ready to be commissioned? Who is ready to blaze the trails of signs, wonders and miracles? Who is ready to walk in the full manifest power of Jesus? Are you ready to face fear and make Jesus famous? Are you ready to get back to the simplicity of the gospel and truly walk in his fire and power?

There is a great invitation in this season, and it is effortless. As you seek the Father, he will speak to you in regards to your positioning within these three phases of intimacy and spiritual marking. I encourage you to sit with him and heed the call, whether you are embracing being serenaded and healed in a divine romance with our King, whether you are awaiting the induction ceremony or you are being commissioned to the nation around you.

Do not miss it friends! Intentionally clear the fog, rise up, do not be seduced by self-sabotage, align your senses to heaven and dive into intimacy with The Father.
