PROPHETIC WORD
I heard Father God say, “2022 WILL BE THE YEAR ‘THE HOOD WILL COME OFF THE HOODWINKED’, AS THEY ALLOW IT.”
TAKING OFF THE HOOD
“Hoodwink” reflects an obsolete meaning of ‘wink.’ Today, ‘to wink’ means to close one eye briefly, but during the 1500s it meant to shut both eyes firmly. So a highwayman who placed a hood over a victim’s eyes to effectively close them, was said to ‘hoodwink’ his prey.” (Source: The Hartford Courant) To be hoodwinked, means to be deceived, tricked, duped, bamboozled, double-crossed, taken for a ride, to have wool pulled over someone’s eyes, or cheated.
This word will be a hard pill for some to swallow, however I felt the Father ask those reading, “Are you willing to question what you have not questioned?”, “Are you willing to see what you have refused to look at before?”, and “Are you willing to be wrong for the sake of seeing what’s right?”
God is not concerned about our opinion or agenda, He is calling forth a pure and spotless bride who is willing to position their heart in purity and passion for Him alone. Essentially, a bride that desires to be aligned with all of Heaven. The veil is being pulled back in 2022 and the truth will be exposed on many levels. Stubbornness, pride, and confusion are being torn down like the tower of babble, and clarity is coming to the church and to the world. The Tower of Babel represents “A place or situation that is very confusing because there is too much information and no easy way to understand it.” (Source: Macmillan Dictionary) As you know, this past season has been filled with an overload of information, mass confusion, and fear filled destruction. The story of the tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9, exposes the sin of pride and the great need for unity.
I saw clarity coming and it felt like a punch to the gut for some. Many have been living in deception, however God is exposing the enemy, the corruption, and He is bringing His Justice upon the Earth. Our God will not be mocked, and He is calling His children to have “clean hands and a pure heart.” (Psalm 24:3-4)
MY DREAM
In the beginning of 2020, I had a dream I never released and if I’m honest, I bowed to intimidation and fear, however the Father wants me to release it today. In the dream, there were many people stuck on an island and in order to get back home, they were told they needed to get an injection. These two men were telling people if they received the injection, it would prevent alopecia, the loss of hair. They were also told, if they took the injection, they would morph into an identity that would make them chameleon like, and it would protect them so they could get home quicker. This one woman rose up loudly and she said “I’m already home! You don’t have to take the injection to get home! See me, I am already home!”
Your hair, symbolically, is your covering and your protection. Many have been deceived into believing that in order to get back to normal and in order to be protected, you must take the injection. False! As you can see, many have been promised “If you do this then this”, however there have been no guarantees. Getting back home is a state of mind, it is a choice! I heard the Father say the term, “Home is where your heart is” and I felt Him say “Many of my people have put their hearts in the hands of the land and not in hands of the one who made the land.” Yes, you have your choice and I have mine, however many have put their trust in something that is not their true protection, and they are still not home. Many are still living in fear and a false sense of security. A person who is chameleon like, is one who changes his or her beliefs or behavior in order to please others or to succeed. Too many people have sacrificed their convictions for the sake of false security. The media has told us in order to get home, you must morph into another identity, called conformity, in order to be protected, and then you can go back to normal. False! Your identity is in Christ alone and He is your source. He is your source of peace, joy, finances, security, and much more.
QUESTIONS TO BRING BEFORE THE FATHER
I’m not here to bash your choice or to shame you! I am here by the Father’s leading to have you ask yourself some questions. Who have you been listening to, and have you taken what you have heard to our God? Everything we hear needs to be filtered through the Father. What is your trust and security in? Who is your trust and security in? Have you questioned what you have heard? Are you struggling with stubbornness, pride, or a critical spirit?
I’m encouraging you to start asking yourself these questions. As Christians, we need to be less concerned about being right and more concerned with seeing right. Simply ask the Lord to show you any areas of deception, false sense of security, pride, stubbornness, and criticizing. I encourage you to repent, come out of agreement with same, and pivot as needed. To pivot, means to “Turn from one position to another.” I also heard the Father say, “You will need to see, for your seed to flourish.” I sensed a great tension and inner turmoil in the hearts and minds of many. I see anger, bitterness, and division stealing, killing, and destroying many people’s joy and peace.
I heard the Father asking the question, “Have you allowed your decision to bring division?” At the core of any choice should be honor and respect, however if you have allowed another’s decision to bring division, I encourage you to take this to God to make things right. Listen to his instruction and direction for reconciliation and reconstruction. “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” (Romans 12;18) We should be turning people toward Christ, not away because of our fight to be right. “God opposes the proud but gives favor to the humble.” (James 4:6) Do you want favor or frustration? Pride must come down!
A HOUSE DIVIDED
I also heard the Lord say, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” (Matthew 12:25) I felt this was a word for families and the church. I heard God ask, “Will you see the error of your ways?” I saw an invitation to look within be extended. An invitation of humility and alignment was before many. God is looking for those with the humility of David, one who will say, “God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares. See if there is any path of pain I’m walking on, and lead me back to your glorious, everlasting way-the path that brings me back to you.” (Psalm 139:23-24) Find your way back to Him! The one that holds the keys to truth, love, and unity. One of the greatest tactics of the enemy during the pandemic was isolation and now it is division based upon beliefs and decisions. Will you choose love and acceptance or pride and stubbornness? Will you choose to keep your side of the street clean, not preoccupy yourself with the deficits of others? There are choices to be made and we do not serve a God of control. Houses divided against themselves will crumble if humility and teachability are not prioritized. God has designed our houses to be filled with honor, respect, understanding, and unity. We have free will, we have a choice. We must be willing to have difficult conversations yet remain in love. Allow the lord to tenderize your heart once again.
THE KING OF GLORY IS COMING IN
“So wake up, you living gateways! Lift up your heads, you doorways of eternity! Welcome the King of Glory, for he is about to come through you. You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?” Yahweh, armed and ready for battle, Yahweh, invincible in every way! So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice! Fling wide, you eternal doors! Here he comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in.” Psalm 24:7-9
Wake up families, wake up church! The King of glory is coming, and He is coming for a pure and spotless bride. Prioritize alignment with His assignment over your own agenda. Lay down your fight to be right, lay down your agendas, lay down bitterness, lay down control, lay down pride, lay down stubbornness, lay down you lovers of God. Sit at His feet. It is not about us, it is all about the King of Glory. Will you allow His Glory to shine through you? Will you bring all the questions, tensions, and disappointments before Him? Will you become the pure and spotless bride, the one with clean hands and pure hearts? What identity will you choose, the Identity of Christ or a chameleon? We were not meant to blend in church. We were meant to rise with a fierce boldness, baptized in love, fire, and truth. We were meant for more! There is so much more! I saw a picture of the greatest showman and I heard the Lord say, “We are standing on the brink of the greatest show of all.” The greatest showman, the King of Glory coming in! He is clothed in splendor and righteousness! We will see a grand display of signs, wonders, miracles, and His Justice upon the Earth. Get Ready! Align your heart! Be willing to see what the spirit of the Lord will say!
